A downloadable tool

GenBrush runs on the .Net framework, which must be installed on your system. It also requires that your graphics card/driver supports OpenGL 4.3 or higher. If you're not sure whether your PC meets these requirements, this tool should help.

This tool uses compute shaders to simulate Conway's Game of Life. If the simulation runs (and runs smoothly) then your machine shouldn't have any trouble running GenBrush.

You can paint and erase points with the mouse, pausing and un-pausing with the space key.

If all goes well, you should be presented with something like the following:

If you are running on Linux; execute the program using Mono, not Wine. Wine has issues creating OpenGL contexts.
